Repost @mmn and !gnusocial I have some issue when registering to hostux.social user. See https://bin.shnoulle.net/?2162333ab3e6086b#7gou5eVjXfBS5F//gEsl/ijBujQjN0PwyStec92Uxlo= . I want to register to hostux.social@valere but return another user (link removed when repost, see ZeroBin for the link) . If i remind : there are an issue when an instance is resetted because user can have their id updated. But seems not the case here.

I already resubfeed and update-profile-data --all.

Do you have an idea ? Mastodon issue or GnuSocial issue ?

I have same issue with 2 other mastodon instance (mstdn.fr and m.sl-network.fr)

Again with the same issue on !gnusocial : remind to kiil manually all daemon afater use stopdameon . Must search for another IP ?

- start : stardameons (if not alive)
- stop : stopdaemons
- status : test if alive

@paulfree14 Why not send it to !gnusocial group ;) . If it's for gnusocial (or fork !postactiv for example ) and not ostatus, then send it to !ostatus group .

@postblue indexes must be done to the value really used in WHERE part . Maybe notice.profileid , notice.conversantion . I don't have a lot with mysql-tuner but maybe because i'm alone (and then surely profileid). !gnusocial .

We can test and fix it in a upgrade .

1. stop the daemon (if you have it) /scripts/stopdaemons.sh
2. check DB error /scripts/checkschema.php (but it must be done at end of the upgrade)
3. scripts/clean_file_table.php -y
4. scripts/delete_orphan_files.php -y
5. scripts/remove_duplicate_file_urls.php -y
6. plugins/OStatus/scripts/fixup-shadow.php
7. scripts/fixup_deletions.php
8. plugins/OStatus/scripts/update_ostatus_profiles.php -a
9. ostatus/scripts/upgrade.php
10. restart daemon scripts/startdaemons.sh

Then you check whole system ? !gnusocial

@vinzv Seems strange than no RSS to Gnusocial account didn't exist in a plugin for !gnusocial . Integrated with gs gui , mangeable via GS gui. We allow daemon , and sompe existing plugin already need daemon. Did you try https://git.gnu.io/gnu/gnu-social/tree/nightly/plugins/FeedPoller plugin ? cc @netmackan

@paulfree14 I using mostly !gnusocial , before i have TwitterBridge actuvated by default but some of ostatus user diodn't want to be repeated at twitter. Then i have a second account to touit.shnoulle.net and [improve a little twitterbridge)(https://git.gnu.io/gnu/gnu-social/merge_requests/147)

Why i repeat on twitter : because ALL people must come to an open network, it's marketing.
Why i use ostatus : because social network MUST be owned by user (like all private part), there are no other choice.

I try !friendica : really a great tool, even without ostatus. But currently i want to really publish what i do. I never use something like Facebook, then don't see interest about friendica network and all private part. cc @make
