     You can always substitute textured vegetable protein, TVP, for the hamburger.

     Nah, use green or brown #lentils. Cook the lentils, puree about 2/3 (leave the other 1/3 for texture), add chopped onion, a bit of seasoning salt. Makes a fine hamburger substitute. Sorry, @heluecht.
