     Sorry to see you go, @vinilox! Your site hosts some significant !Fedgroups such as !Coffee and !GNUsocial -- I'm happy to take over some of them, but how can we preserve their messages?

     Hi !Fedgroups: I'm ready to take over some of @Vinilox's groups: !Conversations (and !Android IM client with #OMEMO) is at http://sn.jonkman.ca/group/conversations , I'm thinking !CyanogenMod can be replaced with !LineageOS at http://sn.jonkman.ca/group/lineageos/ and I'll absorb the bandwidth for !Coffee at http://sn.jonkman.ca/group/coffee/ If you're a member of these groups on https://status.vinilox.eu/groups you should leave those groups, then join the ones on http://sn.jonkman.ca/groups

     !GNUsocial is another significant group on https://status.vinilox.eu/groups but it's probably best hosted by @mmn@social.umeahackerspace.se

     @bobjonkman also the Vinilox-hosted groups must be renamed before Vinilox goes down, to avoid name conflicts. Unless this is no longer an issue due to !GNUsocial code fixes.
     There was a time when remote users just couldn't join groups on quitter.se b/c of the defunct identica group with the same name.

     @bobjonkman https://gnusocial.de/group/archlinux already existed. I just put up https://gnusocial.de/group/vivalafederation/ as well. !fedgroups

     @bobjonkman  you would be a worthy hoster of the new !GNUsocial group: if I recall correctly you have been a GNUsocial user already in the early days of Identica / Laconica :-)

     @vinilox Is it possible you can install !Gnusocial export-plugin and let users export data before closing down on 1/1/2017?
