   @rye @awg sai is decent but it's pretty much the same as it was a decade ago (neither a good nor bad thing)
   
   clip studio paint has fancier features and frequently run sales, i got my licence at like 30-ish
   
   but about your main concern, i don't think it's so much your cleaness of your lines as compared to the definiteness of the shapes your lines form
   
   i suggest getting a sketchbook and sharpie and doing a heck lot of 1-3 minute doodles

     @rye @awg as in, after just doodling a whole lot without thinking too much about any individual piece you'll end up forming a visual language shapewise; that's more definitive of a style than just the texture of the lines
