    @kaniini @spookywitch tbh there could also be leaking manifold intake gaskets which you can see if you get the spark plugs out (mine had this too), but without a very clever mechanic they're a super pain in the ass to get them all out and some mechanics do pull the engine to do it lol

      @kaniini @spookywitch it's honestly why I stuck with older cars until I could get an EV. Never went hybrid. I'm tired of the mechanical complexity and nonsense.

      But yeah, my friend built a special hinged socket extender to be able to get the spark plugs on Subarus out without pulling the engine. They underneath a bunch of bullshit on the sides and in way way deep. You'd have to be Stretch Armstrong to do it.
