    Yup! I set up an !ownCloud server in 2013 (?) specifically to divorce myself from Google Calendar. I disliked the ownCloud calendar webUI; the !Nextcloud calendar webUI is only slightly better. But the backend implements the iCalendar spec RFC 5545 very well, so I'm using Thunderbird's Lightning caledendar plugin, the DAVdroid app from !Fdroid, and have used the .ics public access URI for other implementations. #GoogleFree

    @tuxxus You can either export and import them via the web interface. That's how I did it, because I used the opportunity to start with a fresh installation of both the operating system and Nextcloud, or you can migrate your !ownCloud directly to !Nextcloud and keep all the data, users, shares, etc. It works the same as a update to a new ownCloud version.     Sobre los permisos en un calendario de !owncloud:
    - puede compartir
    - puede editar
    -- crear
    -- cambio
    -- eliminar
    Es decir se podría compartir un calendario dandole permisos para que lo pueda compartir a su vez y sin dar permisos de edición, o dentro de los permisos de edición dandole solo el de crear pero no dandole el de cambio y eliminar.
    Creo que hay bastantes posibilidades para adaptarlo a lo que más nos interese en cada momento.
    En cualquier caso al final todo depende de a lo que cada una se acostumbre, si es a funcionar con el email, cambiar a otra cosa, por muy fácil que sea, suele suponer un trayecto insalvable para muchas personas.

    La idea es que hay información común que empezamos pensando en dejar en el huerto para consultar. Pero claro, el cuadrante por ejemplo había que ir al huerto para consultarlo o modificarlo.
    Y por otro lado, si se dice la url el domingo, el martes ya no se acuerda nadie y nadie la ha guardado o la tiene a mano.

    Y aquí entra el bot, es como una "memoria colectiva", o mejor dicho alguien a quien preguntarle todas estas cosas.

    También hay otra parte, que es que en un momento dado, o en el futuro a partir de eventos de un calendario de !owncloud / !nextcloud pueda recordar a la sala que se va a producir ese evento.
    O que por las mañanas se lea el calendario y recuerde los eventos próximos.

    Y si tenéis más dudas seguid preguntando... o esperad a que tenga un poco de tiempo para documentarlo. :)
