    Was running my new project in demo mode where it just continually increases the phase and magnitude of a load's complex value then plots it on a Smith chart. I was pleasantly surprised when I noticed it produced a Celtic knot pattern.

    I still need to cleanup the location of the axis labels, and I want move around a few other elements. But it is coming along very nicely.

    Beginning work on a version 2 of my SWR+VNA meter (ROES). Using a new much larger full color touch display. I have some debugging to do but it partly works with existing code, so yay.

    I will be completely redoing the UI to add colors and various graphical representations such a Smith Chart showing the complex Reflection Coefficient (Complex SWR).

    I will also be adding an extremely accurate frequency counter up to 2 GHz to improve the accuracy of the device and include a frequency readout on the display.

    Ahora que hay menos luz solar disponible en mi casa, por su disposición, estoy con un WeMos D1 mini, un display 128x32 OLED, una luz LED usb bastante brillante y un lapiz 3D. Voy a construir un dispositivo que ilumine a mi Venus Atrapamoscas durante el invierno, usando NTP para obtener la hora y encender durante determinadas horas la luz USB.

    Concretamente. #gopher es un protocolo de la capa tcp/ip que vió su cénit allá por los 90 cuando la internet en el ámbito privado estaba aún en pañales. Está diseñado para buscar, distribuir y recuperar archivos. Los primeros sitios de internet, llamados hoyos, se hacían para gopher y había de todo, desde portales de noticias hasta juegos. Veníamos diciendo que parece tendencia regresar a la simplicidad de las cosas: pantallas sin distracciones, plataformas en texto plano, máquinas sin entornos de escritorio. Y esta tendencia no es meramente una cuestión estética, hay una búsqueda de métodos y estructuras eficientes, rápidas, de bajo consumo de recursos, ideales para las placas del tipo #arduino o#raspberrypi que hoy se usan en todos los ambientes y que funcionen sin predicamentos para el #retro #hardware (no por estar de "moda", sino porque hay una necesidad de reciclar, de recuperar recursos valiosos). En !p4g nos sumamos a la tendencia y la estamos expandiendo, poniendo en línea un #hoyo de #gopher totalmente en español (es poquísima la cantidad de hoyos en este idioma). Somos clásicos, quizá frikis, pero nos encanta lo que estamos construyendo.

    Si les ha picado el bichito, instalen un cliente y pasen a ver. Yo prefiero #lynx pero para quienes gustan de los grandes navegadores hay extensiones y "plugins" que hacen de #proxy para todos ellos (ej: overbitewx para firefox) y alguno que otro para móviles #android (pocket gopher en #fdroid ). La manera de acceder es tan sencilla como cualquier otra:
