Fotos gratis: el nuevo buscador CC Search indexa 300 millones de imágenes gratuitas

Hace ya más de dos años que les hablamos por primera vez sobre el nuevo buscador de #CreativeCommons para encontrar imágenes libres de uso, y finalmente el proyecto ha salido de fase beta y está repleto de imágenes indexadas, muchas más de los 10 millones con las que contaba en aquel entonces.

CC Search te permitr buscar a través de 19 colecciones diferentes que incluyen desde trabajos culturales de museos, a gráficos y arte de sitios como Behance o DeviantArt, hasta fotos de Flickr, y también diseños en 3D de Thningiverse.

This really is the last straw. It's already unacceptable that an oligopoly of publishing corporations are making enormous unearned profits from their control of academic journals. But when they start actively sabotaging the integrity of the peer-reviewed literature, it's time for the editorial staff of every corporate-owned journal to quit en masse, and set up new #OpenAccess journals to continue their work as a #CreativeCommons, or even in the #PublicDomain.

That statcounter link was the closest I could find to something at least attempting to provide an accurate answer to the question, and the specific link was to desktop operating system usage in Spain, in this case.
