@strypey @adfeno Perhaps I didn't express myself correctly, sorry. What I meant is: there's no need to learn the CLI. Community can perhaps do what #GNU #Bazaar / #Bzr did (have a GUI client) and since, like Bazaar, patches/commits and logs have author information including #email, that should ease the alternative means of contribution.

@teslas_moustache @adfeno I agree with you that web pages are way more convenient, and I do prefer them, although preferably with entirely no #JavaScript or with #LibreJS compliant #FreeJS (like what #Kallithea is doing). But there are times in which people don't want to have an account in the same service provider of the original, thus federated communication like #EMail is a good one.

@upourx também suporta mensagens privadas, e é bem melhor que #Twitter ou #Facebook pois é federado (existem vários fornecedores, qualquer pessoa pode se tornar um, assim é igual ao #EMail), o que é possível pois essa rede social respeita o padrão internacional #ActivityPub. Vi que usas uma conta em mstdn.io, e eu em ecodigital.social, mas podemos interagir mesmo assim.
