I've been waiting on feedback on my degree project so during this time I took the time to do some minimalist design and also learn Webpack. The result was a simple site for a Donut Shop. I also practiced DOM manipulation by dynamically rendering the site using JavaScript.

Un investigador de seguridad informática ha mostrado cómo un atacante podría colar puertas traseras en un código JavaScript que aparentemente es legítimo. Lo hace además sin que la víctima, además de los editores de texto, pueda identificar nada extraño. Se trata de esconderlas a través de caracteres invisibles. Esto lógicamente puede provocar riesgos de seguridad importantes, más aún si no son detectados.

Hace ya unos cuantos años que en Genbeta les hablamos de freeCodeCamp, una plataforma de aprendizaje online para aprender a programar gratis y ganar experiencia escribiendo código para organizaciones sin findes de lucro.
freeCodeCamp es un excelente recurso donde encuentras la oportunidad de obtener certificaciones verificadas gratuitas en múltiples campos del desarrollo, y desde hace poco han comenzado a traducir su contenido el español. Gracias a ese iniciativa ya han traducido en su totalidad los cursos de JavaScript para principiantes, y los puedes comenzar ya mismo.

@resynth1943 @alcinnz Don't worry, I never said to avoid all use of #JavaScript. Being also a #JS liberator (I foster and, when called and when resources allow me to, I help websites implement changes to comply with #LibreJS), I like it very much. At the same time, I'm of the opinion that the less autoexecuted client-side scripting, the better.

@alcinnz I don't like those either, first because they generally require use of something that is not #FreeSoftware, autoexecuted through the @Web #Browser using #JavaScript.
Second, I have monocular sight and color blindness, so I expect webpages to respect my system-wide text font and size choices. The less images the better too. Using images to make tables is bad also, a way to make me fail a timed logic test.

@paoloredaelli @alcinnz I hope they depracate #Google #ReCAPTCHA / #CAPTCHA, no matter if it's with or without user interaction. The problem is the #JavaScriptTrap, the #JavaScript / #JS which is not #FreeSoftware.

Felizmente existem projetos como o #GNU #LibreJS que permitem apenas os #JS livres nos navegadores.

@kzimmermann I know that his is far off but consider suggesting your country to implement #GNU #Taler. I don't know much about it but I vaguely heard of #Liberapay. I know little about whether it runs #JavaScript that is not #FreeSoftware or not
