    @GatoOscuro es obvio que ahora por tendencia es quedarse en #mastodon, pero no quita que todo lo que haces en mastodon tambien se puede hacer en #pleroma, porque ya pleroma tambien tiene columnas iguales que mastodon. Lo bueno es tener varias cuentas de diferentes naturalezas para nunca perder contacto con nada ni nadie. Aparte #gnusocial por minoritario parezca tiene su rasgo todavía ni igualado por mastodon ni pleroma.

    No lo dije solamente por el tema del #anonimato, ya que el #evilJavascript en #mastodon/#pleroma/#gnusocial NO lo permite.

    Y ¿por que no usar #bitmesage? ¿como evitas robots?

    No es muy dificil configurar un robot capaz de usar un servidor de e-mail fantasma y crerar cientos de cuentas...

    Vale, lo primero que voy hacer con Pleroma es hacer la traducción al catalán (son solo 200 strings) y luego completar la del castellano que solo hay 100 strings traducidos. Y lo actualizaré en mi nodo. #Pleroma

    Hola! Ja funciona la federació amb els canals de Hubzilla del node zot.prou.be. Calia activar expressament l'opció a cada canal, m'ha portat una estona.

    Amb això ja podem seguir des de xarxes ActivityPub i Ostatus els canals republicadors de notícies RSS que estan allotjats en aquest node. Fiu!

    Gràcies a @icaria36 per les primeres proves fa uns mesos, a @aran pel suport, a @kim pel feedback constant i a @drymer per animar-me a fer-li una volta més! Potser us és igual a totes, però a mi em fa molta iŀlusió aquest moment ^^

    A part de posar en pràctica la "fediversitat", el que aporta més valor per mi és que els republicadors es poden crear a hubzilla fent clics, i poden propagar les notícies des de RSS a les xarxes que parlen Zot (#hubzilla), #Diaspora, Ostatus (#gnuSocial) i ActivityPub (#pleroma i #mastodon).

    Aquest servidor en concret va una mica lent, així que no el podem omplir amb centenars de canals per RSS, però crec que 4 o 5 més no li farien mal. Escolto suggerències!

    en todo caso, en términos políticos, si veo riesgo de que quién controla el desarrollo de mastodon dirija el desarrollo del resto de los servicios del fediverso. Pero ese es un problema de una escala diferente y hemos visto, vemos, que actualmente nadie le dice al #Friendica cómo debe de evolucionar o al de #Pleroma que lo complique. Ambos usan #ActivityPub a su modo y dan un servicio al usuario.

    Esperemos #gnusocial sepa adoptar el formato estándar de intercambio de "estados"

    Las #redeslibres se centran en #ActivityPub (AP)

    Dsd aquí comparto con gente de #Pleroma o #Hubzilla, y puedo contactar con gente que publica música, vídeo, imágener, blogs/artículos,.... en otros plataformas.

    #Mastodon es una puerta de entrada que ha sido muy útil para mucha gente para, una vez dentro, ENTERARSE de lo que es el #fediverso.

    Algo habrán hecho bien que otros no si medimos el éxito en términos de usuarios.

    No os hagáis todos cuenta en la misma instancia. Aqui hay cientos.
    Cada instancia tiene su política.
    Como si os montáis la vuestra.
    Tb se admite hacerse cuenta en #GNUSocial y en #Pleroma . son redes libres hermanas de #mastodon . todas son microblogging. Y todas están conectadas. GNUSocial (Quitter para quienes les pueda sonar) es la hermana mayor y Pleroma la menor.

    #Diaspora , #Pleroma , #Hubzilla , #Pixelfed . Eso si, lo de ir todos a la misma instancia aquí no se suele llevar. mastodon.social ahora ha chapado la inscripción. En el #fediverso (para los de la LOGSE: Universo federado) es más de distribuirse o si sabes de informática, hacerte tu propio nodo/pod/instancia igual que puedes hacerte una cuenta propia de correo.

    Hello dear #Fediverse, I'm calling for your help in the development of another implementation of #ActivityPub to federate with everyone. There is a nice place #Juick.com which started more than 10 years ago as a microblogging service via Jabber/XMPP. Over the years the support of posting/commenting via Telegram and by email were added. And now it's time to move further - implement ActivityPub and federate!

    Current developer @vt@juick.com has already done great job in learning specs and implementing the protocol. But he is facing some issues which he can't solve himself.

    So I completely understood specs, implemented those in Juick and can consult others. 8) It's just not federating with other existing instances:

    1) #Mastodon - public servers show profiles from Juick, number of followers and number of messages. But they don't show messages themselves. It's not clear how to diagnose. They don't reply to my bug reports ( https://github.com/tootsuite/mastodon/issues/8625 ). I also can't run it locally: out of 1Gb of ruby-scripts 500Mb of ruby-scripts with native extentions don't compile successfully on a Mac (how did they manage to use such extentions which are not working on a favourite OS of Ruby developers?). On Linux it also fails most likely due to lack of 1Gb RAM in the virtual machine.

    2) #Pleroma - starts perfectly but it shows only avatars from Juick, the rest - not. And it constantly floods logs with database constraint errors (after searching a user it records this in its db, and then second search doesn't work as it assumes the user already exists!)

    3) #Misskey - that either Japanese or Chinese product, looks weird itself... and I couldn't find user search there.

    What else can I do? I'm ready to drop this and just leave email for users... :)
