I love when a software projects develops with no glitches. Today I got GnuPG working and integrated, key generation going and integrated well into the docker-compose pipeline. Everything is going surprisingly smoothly!

I kind of assumed you would say that. But the fact that poltifact provides the list is irrelevant. If you go down each point in the list, as I have, the vast majority do in fact turn out to be bald faced lies told by fox.

Now if you have any counter arguments to the actually cases listed then you might have a case. But otherwise complaining that the list came from politifact without bothering to look at the content is just noise.

I agree with the need to document instances. What we need is a good database that looks at various moderation properties and listing if the instance has or does not have a specific moderation feature. This could be used for instances to define what instances they federate with or not as well.

The other points I dont agree with so much. The fediverse is just any server that provides the ActivityPub standard. I dont see it as a walled kingdom or even as a discrete entity. Just a way for servers to talk to eachother.

I'm not sure I see any issue with federating with them. People can block the instance if they wish. But I have no moral objection to being able to hear or interact with a twitter user.

I obviously didnt compile a link back when i used to waste my time evaluating fox, but this list seems pretty accurate of lies from Fox news as an example:

@design_RG We can set up any bots you'd like. I'd just say that unless it is STEM specific it should just be unlisted. Otherwise they are welcome.

Check to make sure they dont already exist int he fediverse too though.
