It would imply that Mastodon is the only valid implementation. The only one worth caring about.

While the same /share route is supported by some Pleroma front-ends (at least Soapbox, where I implemented it), I don't think it's supported by pleroma-fe, not sure about Misskey and others. So it would be confusing to label the button as *Share in the Fediverse* as it won't work with some of them. It's not a part of any Fediverse-related spec.
