@jk I remember seeing a teesny made specifically for audio, or it was a HAT. IIRC it could handle CD quality with ease on a modest tensy.
But again, I don't know anything about audio. I'm curious, what problem(s) are you trying to solve?

@jk about that, I have no idea about audio stuff, but...

I've heard some good things about mixing an FPGA with a Pi to process audio. I'd guess it is kinda like your suggestion of connecting the pins directly to the CPU?

It seems that every single capital city is in chaos but where I live nobody seems to care or be tremendously affected. 🤔
@Gargron I just received a mail saying someone started following me. I entered the link and the site said "CONNECTION FAILED".
After digging around I found it was caused because I wasn't logged in. After logging in, I reloaded the link saying connection failed, and everything works again.
I can not reproduce it again by logging out, though, so maybe you can check the logs of mastodon.social to see the bug? It happened one minute ago.
@inmysocks start compiling firefox, by hand. It'll make you busy for a few years, at least.
@sargoth I'm at >9000pps (purrs per second)
@HTHR the past is also a horrible place. Let's never go there either.
#avicii died. Anyone knows the cause of death? IIRC he had medical troubles with alcohol.
@jk We never exited the wizard. We're still inside a wizard. Mastodon itself is built with wizardy.
Wake up, tootpeople!

@valerauko persistence is key. Or maybe a gun, if you want fast results.
If you'd like a pacifist route: create a bot to parse the most popular series of the moment on imdb, extract the sinopsis from Wikipedia (which is full of spoilers) and sent it by every social network you can think of until they say they already tested it (bonus: make them fill a questionnaire which stops the bot if all answers are correct)
@Thehatter it's part of my allergies, which affect me only at this time of the year (but didn't happen last 3 years, so I thought I was safe)
I can't transmit it since it's not viral, but I'm unsure if my presence, being sick, would make people feel uncomfortable and work less / avoid me. I was thinking maybe working from home would help in that regard, but maybe my sudden disconnection would make people feel as if I'm avoiding the stressful part.
Being an adult sucks.
@technomancy I do read code when I see something that seems like pure magic... Which happens a lot, actually.
Normally what I do is open the program/site/library and use the Chrome's debugger to set breakpoints and jump around code execution, while watching how variables mutates and trying to understand how specifics parts of the code work.
After some years of web dev, I've learnt the best tool to know fully is the debugger, and not the framework of the month.
Questions for those who already feel like competent adults:
What's the best way to handle being sick (as in, need some time in bed) when you're the leader of a team and the release date is really close?
I know I should care for my health, but I'd like to know personal experiences if possible. I'm kinda scared the project will fail if I'm not present for the final details or if a problem occurs just at the final of the deadline...
Turns out working 14+ hours per day isn't very healthy. Who would say!
@ultimape imagine paying a model "now, put some cabbage in your left tit and let me take some photos. Don't worry, it's for a health blog!"
