If you have a .eu domain name, please note that the .eu registrar have updated their information for UK registrants.
It now appears that domains will be WITHDRAWN with no refunds on 30 May 2019, regardless of how much paid up time is left before renewal would be due.
If you are using the .eu domain for anything (like me!) then start migrating things away from it NOW to avoid issues in a couple of months.

Beim Umzug einige Briefumschläge gefunden, deren Laschen höchstens mal selbstklebend *waren*.. Plus einer handvoll alte Briefmarken..
Noch 3 Euro mehr investiert, um die Briefmarken zu upgraden, und das zum Anlass genommen, ein paar Auskunftsanfragen nach Artikel 15 #DSGVO zu stellen 😜
Besonders gespannt bin ich auf #Facebook! Hab kein fb und kein WhatsApp und kein instagram oder sonst was, aber vermute, dass die trotzdem Daten zu mir haben... Mal sehen, was da als Antwort kommt :think_bread:

@martin One thing I've heard is that apparently capitalization inside hashtags is important. I.e. "BringBackNarf", not "bringbacknarf".

We need a multi-national, publicly funded research organization akin to CERN/within CERN, whose whole purpose is to develop a state-of-the-art browser that's not Chromium-based. Make #Google follow our lead, rather than us having to follow Google.
If the Web could be developed using public money, why not a modern browser? Public funding would remove the Mozilla problem of them having to depend on Google.
With the amount of money governments waste annually, we could fund this AND Mozilla.

Das mag sein. Hab die meisten Dienste auch in einem ordentlichen Serverraum laufen, aber der cubietruck muss sowieso am netz hängen und macht halt noch ein bisschen sinnvollen kram nebenbei... Aber weiß auch gar nicht genau, wieviel zusätzliche Energie jetzt so ein xmpp Server verbrät und ob das in einer vm weniger wäre... 🤔

#GDPR / #DSGVO kennt sich jemand mit Art.15 genau aus? Man hat ja z.B. Recht auf die Auskunft über die Verarbeitungszwecke der gespeicherten Daten.
Ist es genug, wenn ein Unternehmen einem 3 MB plain text zuschickt und dann bei Nachfrage nach dem Zweck auf die allgemeine wischi-waschi Datenschutzerklärung hinweist?
Oder hat man auch ein Recht zu erfahren zu welchem Zweck ein bestimmter Datensatz genau genutzt wird?
Gleiches gilt für die Weitergabe an Dritte etc.
