You know, I remember the bad old days of dependency hell - back when you used to have to hunt down twelve different library sources in order to compile something.

I remember the joy I had when I first found a decent package manager that could solve that for me.

And now we're back in dependency hell, with having to resolve gorram ruby versions. Because apparently it's 2001 again.

@VacuumForest I've mostly gone back to coding. I'm never going to be able to earn a living in the Maker community while being blacklisted by the largest traffic sources and I have to be practical about my future. It's just a very different situation here and unfortunately it's hard (and frustrating) to explain to Westerners why part-time work or expensive hobbies are not an option.
