Anyway I'm sorry for my ranting and I'm not sure if any of that should've been CWed but I've seen fascists infiltrating our communities for years, and people I used to know who are _gone_ because of these tactics and it's gotta be taken seriously.

Like, Kiwifarms does this

They drum up a bunch of unsourced and dubious claims and make them sound ridiculous and then they infiltrate our spaces (because there are absolutely members of these forums in your spaces) and use 'callout culture' against us

Because if we're focused on eradicating each other then nobody's focusing any energy against fascism

But also, fascists know that a lot of people in leftist spaces are prone to basically I guess what you could call 'culling the impure' and they use that against us all the time

Like I've talked about Kiwifarms before and they haven't _just_ goaded people into self harm & suicide but they've also bred their own brand of mass shooters

If you're taking things from these ppl and their collection of white supremacist forums as fact you're literally just buying into and aiding murderers and nazis for christs sake

I'm just going based off of what I've seen in the past week and it's from what I've observed that bofa.lol is run by a man who is a-okay using his instance as a tool against people he doesn't like

Maybe there are decent people over there, but I think it's in the best interest of marginalized people _not_ to be there, especially since it's a playground for ironic fascist humor and especially since instances with real policies are rightfully silencing them

But also this sort of thing happened last year too and the discourse really didn't go anywhere until the other instance eventually faded into the background of masto so 🤷

Okay so here we go with a perfect example of a cis man making a trans related joke, that just looks transphobic ... when it's coming from a cis man

I still feel like Mastodon is a mixture of people who left Twitter for legitimate reasons (defending themselves against nazis/terfs)

And people who got banned from Twitter for legitimate reasons (abuse)

The same dude who opened a thread where one of his users is calling people over here on starrevolution.org terrorists

I just wanna say if the people who got mad about wheaton the other day aren't concerned about a 40 y/o dude using an instance of trolls to target two women isn't bad, I dunno what to tell you besides, see what we mean?

I don't know how many people know this, cause at least, as a trans woman I've seen it a lot but these websites are nazi/stalker hives who frequently concentrate their efforts on the trans community
