In the opening scene of Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 2 a pizza place gets an order for *EIGHT* EXTRA LARGE DEEP DISH PIZZAS. In New York City??? 🤔
However, in the next scene when the aforementioned pizzas get briefly intercepted by Scott Spiegel, they are clearly not deep dish. 🤔
@mcc It is a great introduction to Wadget Eye as it is (possibly/arguably) their best game to date.
@antdude Often yes, but not always.
My mother was a single parent. So she sometimes would bring me along to work. Often that meant that I would have 7 hours of access to a very nice 486. And let me tell you, I couldn't be happier at that time.
I still have very distinct memories of playing through DOOM II for the first time at my mother's job, and being stuck on Monster Condo for days.

@coolowt my condolences
@jarizleifr That very much was the case with the original release. Not so much these days, although the game is still pretty unstable at times.
Watched a 22 year old play the original Fallout, and a big complaint of his was the ability to save scum. In his mind it negated a lot of role-playing mechanics (just keep loading till you get a lucky roll), and was too tempting not to use.
And in my head I was trying to imagine the kind of fallout that would happen if a 1997 PC game was released, and *didn't* feature an ability to save and load at any time. 😅
@alter_kaker Lizard people conspiracies? Maybe these days. It's vague enough that this reading is possible, but so are many others to be honest. Mass shootings? Yet to see a manifesto referencing the film, so that's a no.
@alter_kaker I mean, Carpenter publicly denied this particular interpretation, but you do you of course. 🤷

@thejaysunday I hate television, so I don't think I'll make it to season 5.
Well, decided to check out the French original, "Le bureau des légendes", and the American one is a shot by shot remake! Just a tad more expensive. I might as well just watch the French one now. 🤷
