Bernie (codewiz@mstdn.io)'s status on Saturday, 16-Sep-2023 19:53:49 UTC Bernie @itsveganjim@mastodon.socia Interesting info, but the way this infographic presents it made me think: "I get 2x more protein from artichokes than asparagus".
From Wikipedia's #nutrition data, normalized to 100 g:
- artichokes: 2.81 g
- asparagus: 2.2 g
- broccoli: 2.82 gBut wait: those who are watching their weight should be advised that artichokes have over twice the energy density of broccoli: 74 vs 34 kcal. ๐ฅฆ
There's already a large bag of frozen artichokes in my freezer, but good to know ๐

Bernie (codewiz@mstdn.io)'s status on Saturday, 16-Sep-2023 15:30:04 UTC Bernie @greypilgrim @9to5linux @kde I admit it, it has taken way too long to iron out all these issues, but I think it's finally time to start dropping native X11 sessions (keeping XWayland for legacy apps).
Focusing development and QA resources on a single platform will bring more benefits than harm to users at this point.

Bernie (codewiz@mstdn.io)'s status on Saturday, 16-Sep-2023 15:08:52 UTC Bernie @lebout2canap @9to5linux @kde btw, I didn't know open source software existed for this...
If schools require installing monitoring software, students and their parents should be able to verify that it won't do something malicious or questionable.

KDE Plasma finally fixed it one year ago. More recently, they fixed the big where clipboard contents got lost when the origin app quits.
