Hypothetical idea for reducing power consumption from air conditioners - power budgeting. Instead of setting AC temperature, we can set per hour power consumption limits by an Air conditioner. This will ensure that an AC won't consume too much power per day. Also will make people smart by closing windows and doors when an AC is operational -

Economists think that Indian govt's economic stats, especially the GDP figure is a joke.
Also, recently it was discovered that the 36% of the companies that were used to calculate GDP were fake companies.

I used to get annoyed when I find someone has read my message and not replied. Took some effort to reduce annoyance. After cutting off whatsapp, I'm perfectly fine with someone replying a day later. -

I remember long back repairing a friend's computer - the computer was slow for no obvious reason. I found that the fan was not functional. The processor was overheating and throttling itself down. It still amazes me - that a processor can run without a functioning fan. -

This sounds ridiculous to me - that players will have to lower their testosterone levels to compete. What next? Impose height limit on basketball players to ensure a level playing field?

Hi I'm Zoey
A big problem with the way history is taught is that we aren't taught the full context of just how awful life was back then. We're (Sweden here) taught the names and lives of an awful lot of kings and how much they murdered people but we never get the perspective of serfs and tradespeople. They don't matter, because workers don't matter to this day.
Make education leftist, make people understand the class struggle that goes on to this day. Teach kids to draw parallels between oppression back then and oppression now.

Soldering pins connected to ground zones is a pain. Even with thermal relief, it freezes quickly resulting in no bonding with the pad. Perhaps I should raise soldering temperature above 300 deg C? Sounds risky as all components have temperature spec from 260-300 -

Solved an annoying problem in my arch linux OS - a couple of startup jobs will try and timeout after 90s, but they always fail, resulting in a long boot time of about 2 mins. Now after trying to unsuccessfully disable the startup jobs, I personally went and shot down all startup script files. Not a clean removal because during boot the startup scripts show as failed, but since they fail immediately, it does the job. The boot time was reduced to <1min -
