@Antanicus @bob @SuzanEraslan but capitalism *is* blind and evolution favors the strong. if you have the right aptitudes and resources you can hijack the system to make it work in your favor. capitalism has actually dismantled a lot of power structures if you remember, before the advent of Capital wealth was concentrated mostly in the hands of aristocracy. a lot of them ended up wealthy anyway, but they wield a much lesser form of power these days.

@SuzanEraslan @bob @Antanicus there's no reason to assign moral values to a system. capitalism can't be evil, because it isn't a moral agent. you might disagree with some of the outcomes, but that's different than anthropomorphizing a thing that is incapable of thinking for itself. it doesn't act independently of the people who participate in it.
