Any Markdown / Pandoc mavens know how to tweak the HTML DOM generated for HTML pages?
I'm looking at one for an article which doesn't seem to generate <article> or <main> elements, though if it did either, would make some layout / CSS issues a lot easier to deal with.
Problem now is that when I set additional margins within <blockquote> segements, they don't really or consistently differ from the adjacent <p> elements. I have a sad.

Something wrong with using static HTML to display all of a couple dozen jpegs? If your site needs #Javascript to display a simple image on an #HTML page, please consider your users and their accessibility needs. -

@erincandescent it reminds me of people wanting to make a kludge such that a medical camera transmitting over #RTSP has its images appearing in a #web page which has #HTML, #CSS and some freedom-denying #JavaScript, clearly a media player is better for the task. #FreeJS #LibreJS #FreeSoftware #KillJS

@arjenpdevries @phryk @adfeno @alcinnz @aral I agree with the first remark, and there's sign of its validity: look at the #HTML specification, in th e sections that introduce scripting elements: https://www.w3.org/TR/html52/semantics-scripting.html#scripting-languages , in "[...] User agents are not required to support JavaScript [...]".

@phryk @alcinnz @aral @arjenpdevries Personally, I think that the way to kill #JavaScript / #JS and its autoexecution is by participating in the standardization of the next #HTML version, so it becomes official rather than a one-group standard like when comparing #ODF / #OpenDocument with one of #LaTeX, #Orgmode, #Markdown, #Pandoc .

#maullidos es un experimento cuyos propósitos son tan imprecisos como variables. A primera vista, parecerá un blog y quizá lo sea: aquí vamos dejando pequeñas anotaciones que cuentan anécdotas, que sirven como cuaderno de campo, que simplemente expresan alguna intención o desilusión... Totalmente libre de colesterol, está hecho en #html estático con hugo como mecanismo constructivo. Y hemos estado publicando: - No es solo el cli y ya, hay más cosas.

Working with a #documentation #site. Multiple recursive subdirectories.
After converting from #html to #markdown, most files had the backslash character ('\') in random places (an escape character I assume). These need to be removed. ALL OF THEM.No problem, baby - this is #Linux :
grep -rl '\\' docs/ | xargs sed -i 's/\\//g'
