#Meta potential entrance into the Fediverse is the most over discussed topic on the Fedi right now.

(very much Including by me)

And #WordPress and #Wikipedia's recent embrace of the Fediverse is the least.

And I suspect long term the later may have as much significance as the former. Maybe more.

Signs of the #RedditMigration in action: Three of the top 6 #Fediverse servers are not only not Mastodon.social but they are not even microblogging servers - but rather are #Threadiverse servers.

That is only seriously good for the entire Fedi infrastructure. Diversity is strength.

The #Lemmy and #Kbin teams are dealing with all the same issues that Mastodon and other fedi microbloging sites did - but in even a faster timeframe: Questions of how to onboard, questions of centralized vs distributed onboarding, questions of how to explain servers and federation, and deep questions of how to scale if traffic is anyting like it could be Monday...

On Twitter #MattMullenweg, the CEO of Automatic, who owns Tumblr, just reaffirmed that #ActivityPub or #Fediverse support for #Tumblr is absolutely in active development now, planned for next year.
