    @administrator They have a hypothesis: It could be because envs has Authorized Fetch enabled.

    But as your comment doesn't linkify the envs user it seems there's something gsnet finds odd about envs.

      @notclacke It doesn't work, not from here, and not from another GNUSocial server. Are the users and posts from gsnet you see there recent?

    @administrator It seems Akkoma is not able to send messages or follows to GNU Social.

    Is this a known issue or might it be instance-specific?

    I don't think envs is blocking gsnet, as I can find some gsnet posts and users over there.

    Something was fixed in GNU Social and/or Misskey/Firefish. I was now able to follow in both directions. Last time I tried GS and MK couldn't follow each other and only FF was able to follow GS, not the reverse.
