😂 No idea! Maybe because "favs" were intented as bookmarks before bookmarks were implemented? I'm afraid i have not been a GS admin for enough time to have that arcane knowledge. Or maybe it is another but? 😆 -

I don't think it is the same problem @stigatle had. I've checked the logs, and your user seems to have the same problem as mine ("could not find a valid profile for..."), which is different than https://gnusocial.net/url/5602730
In fact, it seems this happens with the last 4 (5?) accounts created, besides mine. So, it has to be something recent. I'll check more logs to find out.
Thanks for the clarification; i think i have two bugs to report, the cascading thread one, and the webfinger error. -

Mmm... i've found this:

So, it could be webfinger failing... -

I noticed it this morning; everything in logs seemed fine, there are no blocks, etc.
I've un-followed @lnxw48a1 and followed back, and now the notices seem to be arriving again. Not sure why, but that "trick" seems to work when this happens:

And please, keep reporting glitches whenever you want; the purpose of using an alpha version of GS is to find as many bugs as possible so the devs can try and fix them. I do report *a lot* of them...
