    I tested Redcore Linux tonight ( http://redcorelinux.org/ ) , I'm intrigued by it since it's a small and non-bloated gentoo installation, and the installer has the things I want (Fulldisk encryption etc).
    Easy and fast to set up.
    I like it because it takes out the pain of setting up a gentoo installation.
    This definately makes it easier for people to get into gentoo.
    I've run sabayon before, and that feels like a bloated OS, while Redcore is the snappy small install.
    Also - very important to me is the fact that the graphics drivers works out of the box, same with steam. So yeah, redcore linux looks very promising indeed!

    I'm also going to start to write on my blog each time I test a new OS, write down what I like about it, what I dislike and how it works for the kind of work I do (3d\coding\games etc). And write reviews from my own point of view. As many of you know I change distros all the time ,so writing about them can become my next hobby.

    @airdisa I feel people are a bit different here. If the network had grown to the size of twitter it would be a different thing I think. People here usually are friendly and talk about mostly other things. There where a lot of talk naturally before anright after election, but it died down a lot after that.

    I will create and upload the new packages of #yaics tomorrow.
    I did not have time yesterday \ today. But tomorrow I do have time for it.
    windows executable and .deb packages will be uploaded.
    I cannot promise the mipsel \ raspberrypi pakcage tomorrow (I need to set up my mipsel laptop, and my raspberrypi as well), so tomorrow I'll focus on the windows release and the .deb x86_64 .

    Got some time tonight to work on my render exporter for blender.
    Today I'm adding support for diffuse color, so from now on my test render will not just be grey anymore hah.
    After that I'm going to make the first custom shader with the properties I need.
    Then texture map support, and then render settings panel. #b3d
