draco (draco@wandering.shop)'s status on Sunday, 23-Jun-2019 14:03:22 UTC draco All the festive revealing outfits I saw yesterday confronted me with the fact that I feel meek and mediocre in my clothing and very uninspired by my wardrobe.
My sense of fashion is just starting to develop and right now, I'd like to burn my wardrobe down and start from scratch.
How do you develop a sense of fashion as an adult when you couldn't care less about trends and basically don't have much to spend on it?

Amazey (twistylittlepassages@weirder.earth)'s status on Sunday, 23-Jun-2019 08:15:16 UTC Amazey I've used Ubuntu happily for many years w/o actually having a very deep knowledge of Linux (I do occasionally use the command line, but only after doing an online search for what to put into it).
Steam is dropping support for Ubuntu because Ubuntu is dropping support for 32-bit programs (https://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2019/06/steam-announces-that-its-dropping-support-for-ubuntu).
If I decide to switch distros so I can still play old games on Steam, what else is out there that's as user-friendly as Ubuntu, and still supports 32-bit?

Chthonic Librarian Socialism (syndikalista@anticapitalist.party)'s status on Saturday, 22-Jun-2019 13:09:18 UTC Chthonic Librarian Socialism hm, there is this old train station 1h 10 min away from berlin central station which is cheap to have (but not cheap to renovate i guess) has excelent infrastructure access (come on, old train station) and comes with 2000sqm land. would work very well for a countryside co-working space, a public workshop/makerspace and a living place with lots of trees and plants. but i neither have the money nor the time to really plan something like this.

Chthonic Librarian Socialism (syndikalista@anticapitalist.party)'s status on Friday, 21-Jun-2019 15:25:55 UTC Chthonic Librarian Socialism @wion here the angle and viewpoint are different, not highly fixated on climate collapse. There is no justifying of militias in it (but urges to understand the phenomena and how it affects the 2Civil War). It does take a lot of research into ongoing civil uprisings/collapses (ie ukraine, syria) and tries to conclude what is likely to happen. it although looks into the closer past, in what happend on US Soil after collapses (i.e. Kathrina).

It has a few bits which are applicable to climate breakdown coping too. But it mostly short to midterm thinking/solutioning.

Eurasia mostly screwed up, but i.e. soon too be China regulated hunting early on (as far as I know) as well as soon to be India (through religious practices as far as I remember)

Lets not pretend that this still matters too much...
