@greypilgrim I read Asimov's early works translated to Italian, and too young to appreciate the literary style.

In the 80's, Asimovian robots had become a widespread trope in sci-fi. Nobody would explicitly cite the Three Laws of Robotics, they were implicitly assumed.

The Foundation cycle introduces other great ideas such as Psychohistory and Mentalics.

Asimov's later works seem to improve in writing style, but lack in ideas of this magnitude.
