What can I say? Thank you to all the developers! I will try it out next time I go to Italy, assuming my Amiga 4000 is still working.

#NetBSD 0.9 was my first experience using a #UNIX system. I cut my teeth installing and configuring it.

Rebuilding the entire userland from sources took *days* on my 25 MHz #Amiga 4000 with 16MB of RAM.

I'm glad it's still alive today!

@srevinsaju Federating repositories is easy and natural with git or any distributed version control system.

Federating the issue tracker, code reviews, web pages and release distribution is a lot harder.

Writing せい using these two kanji makes sense, but just barely:

所 - place, extent
為 - do, change, make, benefit, as a result of

The reading せ for 所 is also unusual.

And the negative connotation ("it's my fault") adds another level of indirection.

But it's apparently a common expression, so it's good to know!

From context, I was able guess it's 所為 = consequence, outcome, blame, fault.

Jisho also has a note: "usually written using kana alone, often ...のせい".
