    @upourx também suporta mensagens privadas, e é bem melhor que #Twitter ou #Facebook pois é federado (existem vários fornecedores, qualquer pessoa pode se tornar um, assim é igual ao #EMail), o que é possível pois essa rede social respeita o padrão internacional #ActivityPub. Vi que usas uma conta em mstdn.io, e eu em ecodigital.social, mas podemos interagir mesmo assim.

    So I'm going to setup a PeerTube and a NextCloud for my instance. Going to try out Plume too though I wont guarantee that one stays online (so use at your own risk).

    My hero in this regard is @Gargron. He built a huge community and revitalized the fediverse at a crucial time and I don't think he gets the credit he deserves.

    He is very open to feedback and despite some criticism, has moved the fediverse forward in the best interest of the users and not some VC funded company.

    It is in the best interest of the fediverse that we work together. #activitypub #fediverse

    It's called #Anfora (previously known as Zinat) and it's been developed in co-operation with #PixelFed so that they will be as compatible as possible (and they both use #ActivityPub).

    #FOSS works best when we're pioneering something new that the entrenched players don't even want to think about because it's against their business model.

    Right now, #activitypub is creating something really interesting and new ( the #fediverse ) by being an interoperable layer connecting previously separate proprietary services. #Twitter, #Instagram and #Reddit won't share content and comments, but #Mastodon, #PixelFed and #Prismo (+others) will...

    What Twitter, IG has done to developers & users, and YouTube has done to creators, is make a huge market for alternatives. We are already 10x better.

    - No advertisements
    - Chronological timelines
    - Federation (no silos)
    - No behavioural tracking
    - Developer Friendly APIs
