@DracoMagister In the end I decided I didnt agree with the vast majority of people involved in the movement. Though I do like the fact that it got people thinking and engaged it seems that it got people thinking in the wrong direction. But I like to go to these sorts of things before drawing conclusions.

In the end the whole mentality was either all government bad, yay anarchism, or the more moderate members basically thought "big business and millionairs/billionairs are bad" both of which I find to be inherently flawed and harmful ideas. But they were peaceful and willing to hear counteropinions so they had my respect all the same.

@arteteco There is usually a bit of wobble around left-right center in these tests it seems. At least that was my expiernce. Your result matches the first test I took pretty closely but the others had me leaning more to the right.

Yea if they were truly no censorship of any kind then I'd agree, that would be their thing. But instead they are actually very much censored they just dont censor "their own kind" it seems. For a while there, not sure if they still do it, they were banning any accounts that suggested people migrate away from GAB for example

There are a great many dimensions other than these two, much more than just a third.. but not sure how that is relevant to my comment. Additional features with which to evaluate doesnt mean that these two dimensions are any less valid.

@wes Honestly Ive never understood how it is even possible for someone to be in the far bottom left corner of this chart. Libertarian in its extream means you dont think there should be any laws or at least very few laws (authority). But being financial left means you do think there should be alot of laws, laws which regulate financial industries and reallocate resources based on need rather than free market demands.

These two ideas seem at odds to me. You cant simultaneously want small/no government and want big government wrt to finances.

@muehlfield And yet more than half of the people who are the 500 richest people int he world (Fortune 500 members) all started as middle class or lower class individuals. Their wealth was earned, not inherited.

@hansw Based on just my gut and where various questions land youI'd say its not a relative chart but absolute. The Left most portion is about as left as you can get (full on communism) and the rigth most portion is as right as you can get (complete lack of economic regulations). Some of these explicitly let you compare different countries average and the USA is not smack dab in the middle, so it doesnt seem tuned to the USA.
