To be fair the **vast** majority of programmers are shit. The sad part is that a large portion of them don't realize it. Those are the ones who are really doomed.

@pschwede That sounds like it is more a issue with people not recycling then, not so much an issue with producing canned goods in the first place.

@pschwede What do you mean? Generally cans are going to reduce waste not increase it since it means less volume to ship since the food is precooked at the source and preserved. So less volumn to move, and less urgency to move it quickly. Allowing for more efficient transportation.

In the end it likely balanced out.

But regardless of that fact I assure you this boomer was not ignorant to cants because of energy production. I have no doubt he has seen plenty of cans in his life.

I didnt "rubbish" him. He was an inventor, and as an inventor he certainly did some good, I said this already.

He was not, and never was, however a scientist. He accomplished great things through trial and error, as well as a limited understand of what he observed. he deserves praise for that.

But he was no scientist and it is clear from the fact that he never published a single peer-reviewed study in any field of any kind that he never was a scientist.

If you change your attitude, or make an attempt to do so, I will happily speak with you until the universe ends from heat death.

But if you want me to continue futher you abslutely must get that ego in check, be aware you simply dont understand a lot rather than assert you think you know. Approach things in a way where your trying to understand what others claim to be true, rather than trying to prove something to be true you made up and dont understand.

If you make that change in how you approach all this then i will answer your questions and we can talk futher. Until you do then as i said, I'm done.

Also tesla was not a scientist. He never published a single peer reviewed paper in any topic, not even his focus of electromagnetism. He mostly was a tinkerer, he would hack things together and through trial and error find things to work. He even developed a few important insights and inventions.

He was an inventor, and a reputable one, he wasnt a science, and he was a complete quak when he tried and as such failed to accomplish many of his goals.

Nope there are **plenty** of scientists who have disregarded einstein, thought he was wrong, and to this day are not just considered reputable scientists but they are some of the greats we learn about in history.

What makes them disreputable is when they continue to disagree with an idea after there is experimental evidence to prove them wrong, if they dont adjust their theories as new evidence comes in.

All the great scientists who disagreed with einstein over the years ultimately did so by devising new experiments that would support their counter-claims and over time as those experiments failed and the ones proving einstein succeeded they all changed their views to accept einstein.

That is the difference.

If you wish to get serious about it then the next step down for you would be to study the permiability of free space, wave equations, and maxwell's equations. These three facts will give you the next level down the rabbit hole with regards to "why/how".

Keep in mind like all why/how questions on any subject, the question is infinitely recursive.
