@sam_animeherald @animeherald No, totally different.
I'm thinking of an old "boy and his mecha" anime series, but the mecha was mid-sized.

@sam_animeherald @animeherald The robot reminds me of something, maybe Giant Robo?
@sam_animeherald @animeherald Oh! I totally missed this mecha anime...

@dropbear42 @mirek Fedora 38 was branched a few days ago and will be released 2 months from now.
You must be using Rawhide, which has been tagging rpms as "fc38" for a few months, and will switch to "fc39" soon.
Orbital flight coming soon ๐

@elijahmanor I had a much smoother text editor in 1987 on my 7MHz Amiga 500:

@elijahmanor I'm trying it out, and I like the cursor animation with the cubic timing, but the scrolling animation is too sluggish no matter how I configure it.
I'm not sure if I should blame the Lua interpreter, neovim or wezterm.
I just switched my laptop from #Rawhide to the newly branched #Fedora 38 beta which will release in April.
It's been a very smooth experience so far, let's hope it stays this way! :fedora:
@elijahmanor @karim I also turned it off. Here's my current config:

@elijahmanor It takes some effort to configure...
@benoit "The current vaccination rate for Japanโs Omicron variant vaccine is a low 35 percent" ๐ฐ
My parents in Italy were also uninformed about the updated booster for Omicron. They both told me "yeah, I already did all three shots."
I took my mom to the vaccination center, and there wasn't anyone in line.
@elijahmanor I'd like smooth scrolling and cursor move animations (helps track where it went with motion commands).
@elijahmanor I used to use vim GUIs for the better X11 clipboard integration, better mouse support and red underline squiggles for errors.
Now there are modern terminals like #WezTerm that can do all of this and more:

@srevinsaju Yes, #AI is very empowering technology for those who can use it, and *especially* for those who can study and improve it.
As always, knowledge is power.
@xerz @benoit Oouch! I guess catching Covid counts as 1 dose (more or less).
I got it a few months ago in spite of all the vaccinations, and the symptoms were so light that I wasn't sure until I took a test.
@benoit Isn't there also a daemon to manage multiple containers and VMs? And what do the config files look like? I hate those libvirt XML configs, yeah.
@Kazinator Ah yes, I heard ใชใใฆ in contexts where people would say ใชใซ๏ผ or ใพใใ...
@elijahmanor I like the neovide concept, but neovim-qt is probably more mature.
@benoit Looks like Japan is still working through 22B, aka Omicron BA.5, while in the rest of the world 22E and 22F are already dominant.
